Oaklawn Thoroughbred Race Track
Live thoroughbred racing in the spring leads right into Oaklawn’s gaming center. The live horseracing season runs from mid January to mid April climaxing with the Racing Festival of the South and the Arkansas Derby. But Oaklawn is more than just horse racing, whatever you like to play you will find it here. From video poker to Double Diamonds and blackjack and all your favorite Instant Racing classics, playing every day and every night in Oaklawns gaming center is possible; The Winners Circle is open to everyone 21 years old and up; Play all night in Hot Springs.
Garvan Woodland Gardens
Garvan Woodland Gardens is an example of The Natural State at its best: a canopy of pines reaching skyward providing protection for delicate flora and fauna, gentle lapping waves that unfold along the 4 ½ miles of wooded shoreline, and rocky inclines that remind us of the surrounding Ouachita Mountains. The Gardens are a beautifully crafted response to those who may have doubted one determined woman's vision for a world-class botanical garden.

Cool mineral water also flows from these magical springs, and when you visit Bathhouse Row in Hot Springs National Park, you'll probably see folks driving up in their cars, hopping out and filling up their water jugs. Take a sip and see how delicious Hot Springs' hot or cold water can be.
