Our March of Dimes model green home was custom furnished by some of Arkansas’s most talented designers- the Arkansas Times Reader’s Choice Award Winners- Laura Bullock, Larry West, Laurie McFarland, and Tobi Fairley of Tobi Fairley Interior Design.
The designers put their contemporary talents to work, designing the interior of our custom green home at at 112 Blue Moon Terrace, and the results are absolutely stunning.
Laura Bullock has repurposed a Belgian bed as a desk;
Larry West chose furnishings from Arkansas Furniture on Albert Pike for the living area;
Laurie McFarland furnished a boys room from her shop, Tuck & Cover in Pleasant Ridge on Hwy 10 in Little Rock;
and the queen of Arkansas designers Tobi Fairley of Tobi Fairley Interior Design has reused furnishings from 3 generations by recovering with organic fabrics and repurposing their use.
Not only is the home 100% energy efficient, its contemporary interior adds unique custom flair that compliments its green design.
We fell in love with the people in Diamondhead the first time we visited. The day we retired, we moved right out of Texas and right into Heaven. Now we have green mountains, wildlife, four seasons and loads of friends. Would we do it all over again? You bet!
