The wood-to-wood caulking of outside walls insures there is no heat loss due to convection.  As for lighting, our LED lighting uses about 1/5 as much electricity as incandescent, produces 1/10 the heat, and lasts over 20 years if burned 6 hours a day.  Even our triple pane low E insulated windows are 1/3 more resourceful than insulated double pane windows.
