CLUB CHAMPIONS NAMED
Tue Jun 23, 2009Over 100 Diamondhead golfers played for the Club Championship on July 11 & 12. Winners are George Renaud, Overall Champion, Bill Milligan 1st Flight; Jim Hannon 2nd Flight; Ron Perisho 3rd Flight. Women champions are 18 Holes, Betts Winsor and 9 Holes, Faye Taylor. Congratulations to all.
Diamondhead is naturally bounded on all 4 sides (2 sides by Lake Catherine and 2 sides by Lake Catherine State Park). We will never be huge and it’s frankly the reason I chose to live here. Our 3000 acres is all we will ever have and will never become a concrete jungle with 45,000 property owners.
